I noticed one of my labs had a little eye droop going on this morning and went to the eVet (google) just to make sure it was nothing major. She seems fine but doesn't like when I get close to eye, otherwise normal. Well, she's in heat and mad at having to wear a diaper but that another story…

Anyways, any thoughts on how serious this is? Plan to take her to vet on Monday/Tuesday just curious what your thoughts were on this board first.

Shes 4 yrs old, just in case that makes any difference.

Did that just start? With the 3rd eyelid being exposed as it is, there may be more going on. Normally with an entropion it is present at a very young age. This is a relatively simple surgery (IF it is a true entropion), I'd recommend a DVM visit.

Does not look like entropion looks more like Horners syndrome. Hard to tell from the picture.

She's totally fine this morning. I have no idea what happened but all normal on her eye now.

Should I still take her to get looked over?

With that 3rd eyelid exposed like that, I would suspect something painful on the eye like a foreign body or a scratch. If she is normal today, she may have flushed it out herself. I would keep a close eye on it and look for any signs of discomfort (pawing at eye, squinting, etc). Eyes can go south in a hurry and shouldn't be waited on if possible.

Vet appointment today and they confirmed Horners Syndrome. Wasn't really sure what could have caused it and we're going to monitor it moving forward.

I am early in the research but just hoping for info on what may have caused it. Vet went over a couple of things and said we can do some more intense tests if it hasn't changed, I am just trying to get an idea what I am potentially looking at.

I appreciate everyone's help thus far and moving forward!
