Here. Thanks for posting OP. He was a great member of this forum and will be missed. I pray his family and friends take comfort knowing that he is experiencing eternal joy with his Savior, no pain, no cancer, no fear - waiting for his family to join him someday. Been studying the beatitudes lately, and how that message upended the framework of the culture into which Jesus was born.
Matthew 5:4:
"Blessed are those who mourn,
for they will be comforted."
Romans 8:28
"We know that God works all things together for good, for the ones who love God, for those who are called according to His purpose."
2 Corinthians 1:3-4
"May the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ be blessed! He is the compassionate Father and God of all comfort. He's the one who comforts us in all our trouble so that we can comfort other people who are in every kind of trouble. We offer the same comfort that we ourselves received from God."
Revelation 21:4
"He will wipe away every tear from their eyes. Death will be no more. There will be no mourning, crying, or pain anymore, for the former things have passed away."
