I have an antique, 100 year old sextant that I'd like to donate to Texas A&M Galveston. It's a 1927, H. Hughes & Son Ltd., London instrument. I'd like advice on who to contact and make the transfer.
Background: The sextant was property of a deceased merchant seaman. He died a couple of years ago and left the sextant to his sister, who's the executor of his estate. She's asked me to find a home for it and I immediately thought of the A&M Maritime school in Galveston.
