What kind of sinus surgery did you have?

I guess not specifically sinus (though I had that years ago) but I had turbinate reduction surgery and some sort of permanent split inserted on each side. Before the surgery I would have sworn I had horrible allergies. Used all kinds of sprays, took multiple antihistamines. Was constantly congested and could not breathe.

Since the surgery I have not used any meds or sprays except for plain saline spray. Did get an allergy test and it turns out I don't really have much except for a minor allergy to grass. So I'm noticing the spring a little but not bad. I'm more annoyed with the yellow crap coating everything out back and my car everyday day.

I've had 3 sinus surgeries. First was in 08, second in 2012, and final one was in 2018. The last one was done by the guru here in Houston and I've had hardly any issues since. A few sinus infections but overall I've been in good shape.

Worst pollen this year in my memory. 24 hr Allegra D every morning and 2-3 shots of Veramist a day have made it bearable. I ran out of Allegra D for a few days while out of state and once the levels dropped in my system I was much more useless than normal for several days and it took a few days to get back to a more
Normal baseline.
