I think a place in Seguin lost two giraffes because they walked into a power line and were electrocuted. This was over a decade ago when I heard about it.
I guess fried is another way to prepare it.

We had a guy who worked at one of the zoos I worked at who had two hyenas and a 7 foot Nile crocodile.
He would feed them roadkill that he would find on the interstate on the 30 mile drive to work.

Yall remember in the early 2000s when the tiger got loose in Cut N Shoot? I **** you not, every single one of my one tooth hillbilly family members were out hunting that f'er. Campfire stories at the deer lease in Rye were the most hysterical ones to date.

On a couple of places that I worked with the Giraffe enclosures had between 12' and 16' fences. However there were also a couple that used the standard 8' fixed knot game fencing but put an area of riprap rocks around the border by the fence as Giraffes do not like to walk on larger rocks. Also they don't like to jump on inclines.

We had a tiger get loose in the Clute/Lake Jackson area way back in the day from Mr. Frederick's place.

I don't currently have a room tall enough. But, I'm not saying I wouldn't find a way.
