The variation could be from when the data was measured vs. when the rain fell. It will be interesting to see what the email update shows tomorrow. There is a column for last 24 hours, last 7 days, and last month.

We got a ton of rain at this time last year but then it dried up. We had a very dry winter and early spring.

BVWaterSmart gauges reported over an inch as of midnight in most CS locations, less so at the Bryan locations. Did the storms come up from the south? I dumped 1.5 inches out of my gauge, and 1.1 inches was reported as of midnight at the Fitch fire station gauge.
