The variation could be from when the data was measured vs. when the rain fell. It will be interesting to see what the email update shows tomorrow. There is a column for last 24 hours, last 7 days, and last month.

staff - can we lock this thread for the next 12 hours so nobody will talk about that stuff we're not supposed to talk about?
I hope I did not offend anybody with this post. If I did, please come see me at my address in my profile so we can talk.

I don't see where it's going to come from tonight. A little while ago we were gonna get a couple of inches in 2 hours. Now the walk back on that has begun. Hopefully, we will get something out of this tonight.

I'm digging this cycle, though. Love rain in late May.

It appears there is a line forming south of Junction that may sweep toward us. But much later tonight.

We got a ton of rain at this time last year but then it dried up. We had a very dry winter and early spring.

The Navasota river's all-time high mark at Normangee was right at 2 years ago. If we get a bunch this week it could get interesting. The river was already out last week at 30 and way up at Sulphur Springs Rd.

Weather Underground app now showing a total of, how you say, .02 inches of rain tonight.

ETA, now we're back up to getting obliterated like TyHolden predicted. It only took 13 minutes for it to change.

Careful, I got lit up on here for using weather underground. Some posters think it's "stupid" guess they get their weather from climate change r us,

Wunderground updates rain chances/coverage faster than KBTX which makes it more accurate to me.

Current line of storms disintegrated over BCS and reformed just south of us.

How about a cracked Aggie dome? That is like a working Aggie dome with a leak.

BVWaterSmart gauges reported over an inch as of midnight in most CS locations, less so at the Bryan locations. Did the storms come up from the south? I dumped 1.5 inches out of my gauge, and 1.1 inches was reported as of midnight at the Fitch fire station gauge.

The earlier stuff was from the south. We only got a spittle out of that.

The stuff after midnight came from the WNW. My brother in Wimberley sent me this screenshot just before 9pm and it was headed our way.
