Howdy, TexAgs Family!
My name is Meredith Kapchinski, and I'm the Founder and Executive Director of Fortis Therapy Center, a nonprofit physical therapy clinic n Dripping Springs. We specialize in intensive physical therapy programs for children, adults, and veteransproviding life-changing services to those who are underinsured, underserved, or otherwise without access to the care they need.
Right now, our annual Shoot for the Stars Charity Auction is liveand we've got some incredible Aggie-worthy items up for bid, including:
Texas A&M vs. Florida football tickets/parking pass and Swag Bag from CC Creations
A Mike Elko signed football
We're having a little friendly rivalry to see which one raises moreCoach Elko's ball or (gulp) the one signed by that guy in burnt orange.
All proceeds benefit Project Walk, our flagship pediatric program that provides free, intensive physical therapy to children with cerebral palsy and other mobility disorders. These kids work with therapists for 3 weeks at a time, 3 hours a daypushing their limits, building strength, and often taking their first independent steps. Many of our families travel from across Texas to participate, and they never receive a bill thanks to community support.
