Fellow watch enthusiasts, I am entertaining selling my 1984 Rolex DateJust 16013. I love this watch, but I just don't wear it much at all and I feel like I could use the cash elsewhere (maybe even on another watch).

The watch is in great condition and has the Rolex travel pouch and original warranty papers with it (no box or manuals).

I'd like to get $6,000 for it, but definitely negotiable for thread members or anyone you may know that's interested.

Not really high-end as it retails for $750 but a dude in my office has this as his daily driver and it looks really sharp, IMHO. If you're wanting a pretty nice watch under $1000 this would probably be a good starting point.

Yes. I do not like two tone bevels. Pepsi's and Root Beers...all that noise. They are ugly and cheapen the watch. Just my opinion which most don't share which is cool.

There are a whole lot of watches on here I like and love. It's just that we see a lot of the same stuff on here that I happen to not like. Most notably the following three:

- two tone bevels
- Rolex divers.
- any Tudor watch. I hate the dongle head hour hand or whatever it's called. It's stupid looking.

Other than those, I'm game for most any watch.

I agree on the 16610 sub, and people paying ridiculous amounts for different colored ones with silly names. However...no dates, white golds, seadwellers (or dssds for those with wrists manlier than mine): muy guapo
