They got any details on how long he slept, rested, etc?

Impressive but short Par 3 course isn't the same as a real course IMO for a world record.

I assume using a cart? Unless he's an ultramarathoner. What exactly is the record? Longest continuous time spent golfing? Or number of holes played in 24 hours? Honestly I'm surprised that the record isn't much longer than this.

Not sure the "number of holes" record should count….par 3 course

If the rules don't specify it can't be par 3's, can't knock him for exploiting the loophole.

On the video where the GWR rep announced it they said it was for most holes on a par 3 course.

I don't care if it was for par 3 golf course holes, "golf holes", 7000 yard from the tips holes... still an amazing feat

He ran it all, no golf cart. I do believe you are correct and he is an ultramarathoner. Still an impressive feat, IMO, even if on a par 3 course. At the beginning when I was watching he was keeping about a 10 minute pace and he kept it within 12 minutes by the end. I have played that course several times and was impressed with how measured he was able to stay with his hits the entire time. Still trying to find the final count of birdies, pars and bogeys. No holes-in-one though.

In that case count me impressed. 100 miles in 24 hours is no joke. Especially if having to carry stupid golf clubs.

It's a par 3 course. You could play everything with just a wedge and a putter.
The last thing I want to do is hurt you. But, it's still on the list.

You could do that on any course, if you want.

Unless you actually know the course. Topography and wind require more than a wedge or 9 iron on 5 and 9 typically.

100 miles in 24 hours is impressive if all you are carrying is a beer in your hand, much less 2 or more golf clubs.

You're missing the point. I'm talking about playing, and walking, for 24 hours. He doesn't need to carry a full bag around.
The last thing I want to do is hurt you. But, it's still on the list.

Quick math has it over 3000 strokes. That is pretty impressive itself. Wonder how dude is feeling today.

He only carried, what I believe was a 52 wedge, for every shot…putts included.

It's not the masters. You can play the whole course with the same 2 clubs and only sacrifice a few strokes. That said, wonder what he shot.

Doing that in upper 90s with 100% humidity is quite impressive. I probably wouldn't be able to even swing a club after about 36 holes

And he's raised almost 80K for Camp Aranzazu
