I have a significant shoulder injury that I need to get looked at and diagnosed, and then we'll probably need surgery. Anyone have a doctor they would trust for the diagnosis and or the surgery - preferably Katy or West Houston. Thanks.

Not Katy or west Houston but I recently had rotator cuff repair surgery with Dr Mark Labbe' with Houston Methodist The Woodlands. Orthopedic sports medicine doctor that invented the tool to fix rotator cuff injuries that gets you out of a sling in 2-3 weeks and not the standard 6/8weeks.

Highly recommend him. Surgery went very smooth and recovery was better than I expected. Recovered faster and had more full range of motion faster than I thought possible.

I had labrum repair with Methodist Clear Lake. Dr. Warren. She's younger, up to date with tech. Yes it's far, but it's likely about 6 total appts including the surgery.

I was in sling for about 4 weeks. Rehab started after 2 weeks and lasted about 6 months.
