So... what about Quest vs LabCorp? I went to LabCorp about 6 months ago and was not impressed.
Between the two, is it 6 in one hand...?

MDA has me spoiled with their blood draws (wish I didn't know that!).

Couldn't tell you the difference between the two. They both get the job done.

I've had some locations give the wrong tests, but YMMV.

How can you compare really? Wouldn't it really depend on who is withdrawing your blood? Some are people are good, some are bad

Yea, and every location is different. Some Labcorps/Quest Ive been to had long wait times and were understaffed, others Ive been to were properly staffed and I was in and out in 10 minutes.

With that said, the best Quest Diagnostics Ive ever been to in terms of short wait times and great staff, was the one on I-10 and Studemont in the Memorial Hermann Convenient Care center building. Ive visited there many times and never had to wait long once.

My PCP has one of them in office and it is great. Get you in and out and you get gossip about the nurses that aren't working that day while you are there.

This is the way. Some of the lab techs (especially the older ones) don't really have any filter.

Most insurance companies will have a preferred lab that will cost you less out of pocket than the other one. That is the one I always use because I haven't seen any difference between Quest and Labcorp after more than 20 years of almost monthly blood draws.

ETA: Never go into either one without an appointment.
