Looked this up. You are less than an hour north up coast from Rockport. I've never actually gone north of Tivoli because we always turn west on 239 and head north from there. Need to just drive up the coast more and check things out.

I bet it is quiet with less than 1k people!

Seadrift still has a sizable commercial fishing industry. San Antonio and Espiritu Santu Bay are both very good fishing at times, and historically good duck hunting. The water isn't always pretty there, but is a sportsman's paradise.

Its awesome. I love how few people there are. My mom lives in Rockport. I leave Austin and go to Rockport and it seems like i am still in traffic. Seadrift is great!

100% We love it there. Really peaceful and quiet.

Yep.

My GF was the idea for the Mermaid on their label.

She's been a swimmer/swim coach for a LONG time...She always says she's a mermaid.

They're good people there.

I run those roads often as I primarily fish out of POC or Seadrift a few weekends a month. Seadrift is a quiet place unless your cabin faces the highway. I love the waters around there.
