Yeah, I have been reading there too,.looks like it is time for a new alternator too. 21yrs and 265k was a good run.

Anyone replaced their a/c compressor on a 100 series. I got the flashing a/c light last year and replaced the suspect relay which mostly alleviated the problem but it is back now and looks like it might be time to do the compressors. I haven't priced what the local indy shop will charge but my guess is it will be much higher than what I can buy the parts and gauges for and learn a new skill.

Yeah I came home with some pinstripes. But the good thing about silver trucks is they hide dirt and scratches well. It's not all that bad and nothing some paint correction can't fix.CaptnCarl said:
Looks like y'all had a great time. The roads out there are easy, but pin stripes can hold you back. Did you get any pin stripes?
What did you like/dislike about the RTT? Last time I back country camped at BBNP, I borrowed my dad's RTT on an M100 trailer. Being able to lay on a foam mattress while star gazing was amazing. I've been torn about getting one myself.

$125 for each... To be clear I have 2 passenger side front seat covers, but nothing for the driver side.

Also, aren't these years of the 80 series the lower horsepower version? I would really aim for the 94 or 95 up ones.CaptnCarl said:
Looking to get this group's opinion on this 80. The guy says the vehicle won't go into 3rd gear. May need a new transmission. He's come down to $5400.

And just when you think it can't get worse, the rear looks like a cheap version of the Cherokee...
