They did... He still makes money from in video sponsors and selling merchandise and his non "pew pew" channel off the ranch is not demonetized.

How is that insane? That's pretty normal. Many people get millions of views on a video but only have like 100k subscribers

Because it's so consistent. There's people with 3,4,5+ million subs and they're lucky to crack 1 million views

I saw his video where he put buggy wheels on his Hellcat. I thought it was hilarious.

Cody is hilarious. Furthermore many youtubers have vouched how he is down to earth, very respectful and doesn't want special treatment.

Dude got it made and livin' the life. He can print money with that youtube channel. Destroying a $100K truck is a business expense for him.

Him, cleetus (Garrett) and Matt (demo ranch) are killing it. I'd like to hang with any of these three any day.

I don't think there is anybody that has posted in this thread specifically that is mad, but there are comments I have seen elsewhere that show people are definitely mad at the whistlin diesel dude for basically destroying brand new expensive vehicles.

I'm a fan of that channel in general but it's becoming more and more about just exploiting excess and complete wastefulness. Contrast this with Mr. Beast who at least uses some of his newfound wealth to benefit others.

Also conflicted on this video in particular as a former Army aviator just to see him disrespect and destroy a helicopter like that. Would respect him more had he actually learned how to hover and at least fly it first.

I understand it. But I still can't watch it. It hurts too much.....

A Revolution Mini-500 belongs in a scrap pile. He might have saved a life by doing that. I followed the saga in the early days of the internet.

Damn. Scary as hell. Guessing the rocket exploded instead of, well, being a rocket. Not unheard of unfortunately. Bad booster stage probably.

The hand thing was crazy too. Got to see what almost happened to me. I learned the hard way why we were drilled to never put your hand over the venturi ever but especially when loading. Put a SMAW rocket in as an A-Gunner and as soon as I rotated the rocket into place, it fired. Straight into the berm about 2m in front of us. Also thankful for safe arming distance. Sand and fiberglass like to create enough static to simulate the trigger it turns out.

WD makes a mini-documentary on the Killdozer incident in Granby, CO and buys a Komatsu D355A to build a replica of Killdozer.

I get satisfaction from the theft recovery videos

Generally, not a fan of WD. I admit, it more me than him - because I don't really enjoy watching the 'wanton waste' of some pretty cool stuff. He is well within his rights to do it and obviously lots of people enjoy watching it, it's just not for me.

That said, I enjoyed the video of him purchasing the Komatsu. His wit came through without being an ass and it was just really cool getting the dozer going, plus, they weren't destroying stuff. It was my favorite WD video.
