Found the world's most squared off curb coming out of the insanely tight church parking garage today. Can this be repaired, or am I buying a new wheel?

If repairable, any recommendations on North Dallas / Plano?

Yes. A rim job will make everything ok.

15 years ago I used WheelsAmerica in Dallas to narrow some wheels for my 65 Mustang. They came recommended by Mustang Steve. They were probably the only shop in the country with the lathes and welders competent enough to take on the liability of doing that work.

If they're still in business give them a look.

I've had several wheels repaired there. They used to only charge $100 no matter the issue, but that was several years ago. Each time the wheels looked brand new when they were done with them.

I don't think that even qualifies as curb rash. That's a curb hemmorage

We paid $$$$ to fix a wheel and it was never ok after the repair. Six months later i bit the bullet and purchased a new wheel.

Cliff Notes: NO

At least you took some of the curb with you. That'll teach it!

We've done several wheels on different vehicles and all came back like new. Just had the dealer's vendor do them while we were having other work done. Used to be $120/wheel, but the most recent quote I heard was $200/wheel. I hope it hasn't gone up since.

Call the dealership and ask where they farm out their wheel repair to. Will probably be $200.

Houston Wheel Tex. They're in spring branch. Sammy is the owner but he's rarely there, he's usually delivering wheels back to dealers. They do good work.
