I had a shock snap in two today. The worst part about it is my son was driving the vehicle since I passed it down to him. Good thing is he was on a city street only going 15 or so. I don't want to think about if he was going 70 down a highway. I'm on sharing is so y'all might want to take a look at everyone's suspension now and then, no matter the brand.

Dang, didn't know they had a lifetime warranty.

I had two that failed on my Tundra from hitting large holes and I replaced the pair both times. Nothing catastrophic, just noticed it sitting lower on one corner a day later and saw that the strut was bent towards the bottom.

southern, sounds hard to believe this would happen going 15 mph....boys will be boys.

Edit: found a pic of the damage

way back when during college i was home and borrowing my mom's car. i was out with friends and i ran over a curb on the off ramp exiting the freeway. i wasn't doing anything real stupid, just not paying attention i think and probably going too fast.

it flattened the tire, so i put the spare on and just told her i had a flat.

some time later, i remember her telling me when she went for new tires she said discount had said her rim was bent. but she never put two and two together, and i never confessed anything

No doubt there might be some things that go on, but the truck doesn't move like it used to. Shocks are about 5-6 years old with 30k on them. The street he was on is flat, not saying he might have jumped some tracks to get there.
