After 9+ years and 160,000+ miles with my 2016 F150 Lariat FX4, I decided it was time to get a new truck. Looked at the new Tundra's along with the F150's....Liked things about both of them.
Chose the Ford again. Previous 3 trucks (2001/2007/2016) were Lariat F150's. Each going 160 to 180,000 miles without major issues. Ford is offering 0% financing for 48 months - and 2 years of scheduled maintenance. Hard to pass up "free" money...
Enough talking - here's some pics

Lariat FX4 - Space white metallic with the Lariat black appearance package
3.5 Boost (my first boost truck after 30+ years of driving V8's in a half ton truck...)
501A package, tow/haul package - 7,100# GVWR - 3.55 locking rear diff, brake controller, FX4 off road
Mobile office package, blue cruise
The spec sheet is basically the same as the 2016 it replaced - but it's a lot nicer. Technology is light years ahead.... I had to try a lighter color (my last 2 trucks were "dark") - The space white metallic is really bright - and with the black appearance package - think it looks pretty sharp. Doesn't look like a work truck...

Trying to understand all the "bells and whistles".... Watching a lot of YouTube videos...
I purchased this truck through the "1ags" AutoBoard contact. I bought my previous truck (the 2016 F150) through the same channels. I can't say enough how straightforward and pleasant the experience was. I did my research before I went in - had 3 different trucks in stock I was considering. Looked at them made my decision.
On the price of the truck - good discount off sticker. I also had a $2,000 private offer from Ford on top of the discount.
On the trade - the price offered was a little better than the ones I did myself before shopping. Treated fairly on a clean 9 year old truck with 160,000 miles.
Negotiated some on the Ford Premium ESP - again good pricing based on my research. (7 yr / 125,000 miles)
Financing was quick and easy using Ford's 0% promo.
I wasn't paying attention on the time - but probably took less than an hour and a half to get through all the paperwork on a Thursday afternoon (also the last day of August).
I am happy with the overall experience. Would recommend.
On the registration - I have the "CCA" specialty plates. We were able to transfer the plates from the 2016 to the 2025. I'll pick up the windshield sticker in a few weeks at the dealer when it comes in. No "temporary plates".
Next on the list is to call Luke at Truck Alterations to order my Bakflip MX4 bed cover. The one on my 2016 was still tight and secure. Going to buy another....
