Anyone that has made the switch, what are your thoughts? I've been driving nothing but F150s for the last 17 years. Currently in a '23 with 5.0. I really like the truck but I need to buy something soon since this one has to go back to my company. I don't like the direction Ford is heading with their trucks - nerfing features and cost cutting while selling at what seems like the highest prices of all the big manufacturers. I personally do not like the newest front ends... I had been wanting to buy an F150 Tremor until the latest iteration got the XLT grille - Not a fan.

I test drove a new AT4 with 3.0 Duramax the other day and I liked it. The interior felt really nice, with all the features I'd want, including some that are missing on my Ford. I could feel the low end torque of the Duramax, but the drop in horsepower was noticeable higher in the RPM band. How is towing with this truck? Is there a refresh due soon for these? At first glance, it seems to me like you get more for your money with GM now?

Here's a thread talking about the 3.0 in the yukon etc. Looks like the 3.0 has been updated recently.

I had a 2020 F-150 King Ranch that I really liked. Sold it to a good Aggie and bought a 2023 AT4. Liked it so much that when I handed it down to my son, I got a Denali Ultimate with the 6.2L(grabbed a large small block V8 while I can). They are both great trucks, but I like the power, interior, technology and drive of the Sierra v the F-150.

Have they ever made the GM trucks/SUV seats more comfortable? The last couple of models I have been in all had horrible seats.

My AT4 seats fairly stiff, but I would not call them uncomfortable. The Denali seats are much softer and very comfortable.

I'm not all that boujee but my wife had an extended rental in an LTZ Tahoe that was a 2023 and the seats were absolutely terrible. Driving 2hrs was miserable.

Agreed. I get them for rentals fairly often and the seats are awful. I also can't stand the infotainment vs. Ford. But do like the styling on many of the Chevy models.

GMC definitely is winning the exterior competition, but still don't like the infotainment or the seats that feel like a 2x4

I have 2024 Suburban and really like it. The seats are very comfortable to me.

In fact my back is sore and achey from a recent long road trip in my company truck (2024 F 150). Every time I drive it for more than an hour my back is done. No matter the seat position.

It has a 5.0 that is tremendously powerful. Only good thing about it.

It has a cheap feel to it.

The power train is glitchy, jerky, and has a fish bite to it. Cold engine noise is embarassingly loud.

The drive train has a vibration that cannot be solved by different tires and road force balancing.

The infotainment system connectivity is really poor.

The air conditioning takes forever too cool down.
