After the football win over the Utah State Aggies that was "unbearably hot" (according to two coeds we met on the way into Kyle Field), I drove up to Waco to visit my mom.

Overnight temp dropped below 70F and my TPMS sensors complained all the way home to Galveston on Sunday.

I guess it's time for "Winter Air". Or at least "Fall Air".

In the BMW 7-Series Owners Manual, it did state to ensure proper tire inflation for driving above 100 mph. I was too lazy to air up my tires so I decided to just keep it under 100 (for the most part).

There's hardly enough room to drive 100+ these days. It's a shame.

I thought you were talking about when the first true cold front hits this fall and the line into all discount tire stores being 50 cars deep.

I did check to see if the parking brake was on before I left my parents house.

Yeah, the Discount Tire thing never ceases to amaze me. People wait in that line who knows how long. It's not exactly difficult or time consuming to check your air pressure yourself and air up if needed.

Seeing that line always reminds me how screwed we are as a society when we finally reach SHTF.

I had to guide a coworker through the process of inflating his tires at Costco's free air compressor. He's an engineer.

I was getting tires at Costco yesterday and this Asian guy brings in his Toyota to have them check all his tires because the light came on. The Costco guy had to explain to him 3-4 times that he would have to wait because he did not have an appointment and it may be closer to 8:30 when they close before they get to him and that they may not even get to him.

Costco guy tried to convince him to use their free air outside himself or schedule an appointment but the guy kept saying no no I need you to do it. He left his keys there, sat at the food court, and stared at the tires counter

I'm surprised BMW hasn't added two TPMS settings. Porsche has a normal and "high speed" setting for speeds over 100mph. Normal usually keeps the nags away unless the tire pressure is in the upper 20s from the normal upper 40s.

Talmbout, I got two dead battery sensors. Just gonna wait til new tires are needed and replace em all.
