And understand children this was BEFORE social media, BEFORE cell phones with cameras (in mass market). For the few cellphones with cameras they were distinctly called "camera phones". This was just 2 years shy of my arrival but we all knew of the list eater when we cAme for fishcamp

Dude we had to go to the student computing center on campus to even find a computer than could handle editing video. Why it took like a full 48 hours for this video to get online.

I had completely forgotten this term but, yes, 100% - a phone that happened to have a camera was specifically referred to as a camera phone. And the images were awful.

The only thing she could really have done after that would be go on a Carnivore diet, lose about 100lbs. and dye her hair. Then get married and assume hubby's last name.

I recall some Aggie posting on TexAgs about 5-6 yrs after the event that she was spotted as a substitute teacher at their kid's school.

Can't believe this was 20 years ago. Was a freshmen in the dorms and we carried down a tv and PlayStation with extension cord to play college football and booze while camping out. I was two lines over from the famous Listeater. What a scene when she put that paper in her mouth.

Got a donut from Fran with his famous "Eat donuts, not lists". Game was NYE in Dallas. Hammered the night before, made it to the cold game hungover to hear Rocky Top blasted all day.

We took a buddy's Mom's minivan to the game and broke down north of Bryan on the way back from DFW. Got a ride back to town and went out on Northgate to conclude the wild week.

What a memory. Thanks for posting so I could go back down college memory lane!

It was 10am, muggy, mostly sunny and Tshirt weather

Read this. It's a pretty good summary. It also explains how ticket pull worked back then and the purpose of the "list".

I wasn't there because I'd gotten free Cotton Bowl tickets from a friend (I still hate hearing Rocky Top). But heard all about it at the time and from friends actually in line.
