What are yalls thoughts on overall record? We were 7-1 before we collapsed. Elkos second year and maintaining defensive playcalling.

Reed led our team for passing and rushing yards. But struggled in passing over 20 yards at 27%.

Moss being back and healthy who I think led the sec in yards before getting injured.

Returning all of our starters on the o line. Should be huge and give us some strength in the run and passing game.

A few new wr's to help out Marcel.

On the defensive side we got York, scooby, will lee, and Chappell back and some solid transfers but I still hate our secondary.

I also hate our play calling. But with Reed being young last year maybe it was the best we could do.

Our schedule is back loaded and will be tough but we should get a good jump on our record at the beginning like always but the question is can we not self implode.

Our big questions will be the defensive line and Marcel Reed.

I start by comparing our position groups to last year. I might be drinking too much koolaid, but it looks like every position group should be better than last year except DL.

That's assuming we stay healthy and we know how that goes…

1. Texas A&M will upset Notre Dame and win all of the games that we should win.
2. Texas A&M will lose to Florida, LSU, & tu

* Season Record Prediction = 9 - 3

* We will finish around number 5 or 6 in the SEC in both Total Offense & Total Defense

We Need highly improved - Intermediate Passing Accuracy & Decision Making
from Reed. He is already the Leader of the Team.

Losses to ND, LSU and Texas and another 2-3 just because we are A&M.

Sure, maybe we beat LSU in Baton Rouge….we usually don't…and they do have a Sr starter at QB…but we certainly could

4-1 with those other 5 is optimistic

Either way…we are splitting hairs at 9-3 or 8-4

it seems like the Ags have a solid team heading into the 2025 season with numerous good players and a great RB

the approach will again be to win games by running the ball, controlling the clock, and playing good defense

very tough road schedule this year

I know woulda coulda shoulda, don't let max johnson dice you up on his last drive, etc., but Demani Richardson literally cleanly stripped the ball on kickoff coverage, and was cradling it with all the sweet tenderness of a mother with her newborn when the officials finally blew the whistle to say "forward progress was stopped". That game was 100% over and won and incompetent officials plucked it from us. I don't ever complain about officials deciding a game definitively unless it happens on the last play and it's incontrovertible (which this was)
