Yes that's high end IF things go right but I predicted 9-3

I think we'll find ourselves pissed and out of the playoffs at 9-3, unless we beat sippers in the last game to get to 9 wins. I'm thinking we lose a stupid game in there (arkie, mizzou) but beat 1 of the 3 big time roadies of ND, L$U, or tu.

I say this because I think this year more than I can remember the conference is up for grabs. We'll be in the race throughout the year but find some way to blow it down the stretch.

I think we're better this year at every position, aside from the question marks at DL, of which it may end up neutral….not better, but not worse either.

The sooner you accept 8-4 is the ceiling and 6-6 is more likely, the better off you'll be. The program is cursed.

Agreed. The only questionable positions are DL and maybe TE but i think we upgraded our TE. I do love iur starters at DL and most our second string but it gets questionable there.

regardless of BAS which many of us have, we should be one of the better teams in the sec.

the question is will we? probably not because we rarely do but to act as if we shouldn't be better than 8-4 is wrong. if we don't win 9 games this season the heat shoud turn up on elko. he has the team
in place to at least challenge for a playoff spot.

Sigh. There are some teams that can do more with less like Alabama and Texas. We always do less with more. We should put more money into other sports where we might do better.

I'm the lowest on this football program as I have been in my lifetime and I'm 50. I will be surprised if we get past 7-5.

I can't stand it but I now understand Kansas. FB will happen and will be absolutely irrelevant and unremarkable but I can't wait to see what our basketball team looks like this year.

Another thing……I don't know why people are so high on Tommy Moffit. I didn't see anything from last year's team that made me think he was some great hire. We got pushed around by Notre Dame, tu, and S. Car. We also seemed pretty mentally weak in the back half of the season.

Its not very pretty for the amount of resources we commit to football. Based off history the high water mark this year would seems to be 9 wins. Just like most years media/football pundits are hyping us up. Show me the money.

Actual data to back up the whole 8-4 thesis. Nice bell curve right around it, but there's a few outliers at or outside of the "two standard deviations". So let's hope we deviate to the high side.

Last year I kind of felt like the Notre Dame game was a no lose proposition. First game of new regime and they hadn't had a huge chance to fill obvious holes nor teach new schemes . This yr I feel like the Notre Dame game is a more serious barometer for where wer'e at and where we're going. For that reason I'm not going to predict anything until I see what that one looks like.

If it's the standard terrible performance in the road when there are even the slightest of expectations then you know 8-4 is the ceiling

If we somehow win then you'll know we'll squander it by losing to Arkansas or South Carolina and that 8-4 is our ceiling

Have a chance but we have to stop the run or it's a long day. Hold them to 120 and we have a good chance. And on the road you just can't turn the ball over. I think offensively we'll move the ball and score at least into the low 20's.

And Josh Lambo was on that team. Just change the kicker, they are just a specialist and no one cares

With all due respect, this is Aggie football we are talking about. We had the #1 Recruiting Class Ever in 2022 and still lost at home to App State.

We lose to random teams every year that we "should have beat". Its not BAS. It. Is. Reality.

How we can look at a schedule and chalk up certain games as "Gauranteed Wins" is beyond me.


Texas 8&4? 8 wins is not even a guarantee!!!
