Utsa is a minor league team getting guys ready for the big leagues they won't be very good game one we win by 35 plus. Don't bet the farm but a paycheck will be okay.

It will be a 8-4 kind of mood

Game should be over by halftime. On skill level alone, this is not even close. I expect 21+ lead by half and dominating the stat sheet. Middle 3rd, 2nd string comes in for good reps.

The only thing I can pretty much guarantee is a feeling of dissatisfaction. If we trounce them in every aspect of the game then the theme will be "they suck and it doesn't mean anything" which may or may not be true . If we win by less than 3 TD's then the " here we go again" crowd will be crowing . If we lose then "Elko has to go " will be the theme and rightfully so.

Volcanic anger from the pot bangers, impetuous, ecstatic joy from the pumpers unless the following happens:

Game is 35-0 or better (must be a shutout) with Reed throwing at least 3 TDs by the end of the 3rd quarter. O'Neill plays the whole 4th quarter, throwing for at least 1 more TD. The offense on the whole scores 2 more TDs during the 4th.

1st team defense gives up 3 pts or fewer. The backups give up 7pts or fewer. Score is 49-10 or better.


If the above happens, all should be satisfied.

I dunno man, I believe we could score a TD on every drive and allow no first downs and someone will complain about something.

you definitely should be rooting for Miami Hurricanes to destroy Notre Dame in the first week...

Why? I'd prefer a big Notre Dame win and corresponding high ranking . Would make an Aggie victory in South Bend potentially more impactful .

pumpers will be pumping and pot bangers will be banging pots.

If we win….depends on "how we won"

If we win by a little bit….most people are gonna be pissed and vocal about it

If we win by a landslide…the pissed off people will be less vocal about it

MNC? There are playoffs now, can't call it mythical anymore

I would take UTSA and the points
