I expect folks will be surprised how well our passing game is improved.

Craver, Concepcion, and Niblack are the three I will be watching. I think Niblack will be our go to at TE.

Aren't you the guy who wouldn't shut up about how bad we'd lose to Bama a few years ago, then we won with a backup qb and you ran away and hid until you were called out by the board?

Or were you the guy who **** all over the A&M baseball team the moment before they began making their run that led to Omaha, where you also ran away and I don't think ever returned to that board.

Or were those both the same guy? I can't ever remember. Either way, the uptick in volume of your doomsday posts makes me feel better and better about the prospects of this season.

He's the Jim Cramer of texags. Always has been.

Will be difficult to be "surprised" vs.1st 2 opponents as should not even be a test. More concerned that we'll think we'll have a passing game or potent offense after 1st 2 games (drunk on koolaide), but really not tested yet before we play a ND.

Can definitely use the game as live action to see who really has it vs. fall camp, but unknown if it truly preps for ND properly.

1. We don't win by more than 4-5 TDs like was should
2. It's close up til the end of the 3rd
3. This place melts down
4. folks are like a wins a win
5. we ignore the glaring meh'ness of this program despit it being written on the wall with these crap wins and are disappointed again with a 8-4, 7-5 season

I expect very vanilla play calling from Klein to start off, how the o-line plays vs. Florida will determine how much he expects Reed to run out of the pocket the "death" months in October/November.

Lots of short check downs, give him and the O-line some confidence going into late September. I expect 30 ish point margins, not 50. We'll start subbing mid 3rd if we could, at least we should.

I was defending you… my analogy was that if you were Jim Cramer, the opposite of what you say would come true.

I'm not a pumper and think we're going 7-5. My prediction for losses are ND, Florida, Arky/Mizzou, LSU, Texas

Game one was lukewarm

Game 2 expectations:

Shore up the run defense
Open up run offense
Reed to develop more accuracy and show more seriousness of getting a first down (game 1 Marcel did not give strong efforts on two third down runs - 1yd short on both and punting)

Pumpers thank we are going to be great and go 8-4. Bangers beleive we are going to suck and go 8-4.
