What do expect - an explosive offense by scoring 50+ point per game? A disciplined defense with multiple sacks and the opponents scoring less than 10 points each? A stellar specifically team performance?

I see you Pumpers already warming up those excuses about how great UTSA is and what a quality opponent they were so there's no shame if that final score is way too close for comfort!
As a gesture of good will, I'll donate a free one for yall:
"Don't worry about the score it's just the first game of the season, UTSA is a dark horse to make the playoff and we couldn't risk showing ND the playbook! Lot of FB left to play! South Carolina looked like ass against Old Dominion and they almost made the playoff! It's not how you start but how you finish!"
That is a quality Pumper excuse right there that hits all the usual highlights so use it well!
You're welcome!

Aren't you the guy who wouldn't shut up about how bad we'd lose to Bama a few years ago, then we won with a backup qb and you ran away and hid until you were called out by the board?
Or were you the guy who **** all over the A&M baseball team the moment before they began making their run that led to Omaha, where you also ran away and I don't think ever returned to that board.
Or were those both the same guy? I can't ever remember. Either way, the uptick in volume of your doomsday posts makes me feel better and better about the prospects of this season.

I don't imagine we would look to really get too deep in the playbook if Elko & Klein had their way… and if our line is half as good as everyone thinks it is, we should probably just be able to let Owens and Daniels churn it out while Moss works his way back to full speed.
UTSA is a well-coached program that we should out-talent, so beating them by 4+ TDs would be a really promising sign, especially if Marcel looks comfortable working through his reads… I would love to see our TEs establish themselves as a major part of the pass game.

****ting on Klein is the laziest take ever. He had to keep shifting strategies week by week due to the qb, then the moment the qb situation settled we lost our bell cow RB and had already lost major pieces on the OL. And even then we were still pretty damn good.
But guys who make dinner bets with family and friends out of rage were mad about the tu result and that's really all it is.
