I really don't like bagging on players, but this is an easy call. Should not see another snap unless every other option, including Bussey, is injured.

What if they shut down both?

Hopefully the investment in a guy fast enough to beat man coverage will pay off. Craver needs to have a big game

Coerce MR to be even more inaccurate on mid range and deep balls than normal?

I walked on at A&M for a semester, so I am a little more knowledgeable than most on this topic. Here are my thoughts:

I will say, we out-athlete the JAGs Miami's offense put on the field against the Catholics. I don't think Mother Mary will be able to save them from the Immaculate Concepcion, Super Mario Craver, and the Bethel-Roman Empire.

If our D can elongate itself and play sideline to sideline (I'm looking at you Scooby Doo and Taurean New York) we matchup with them exceptionally well. Force them into passing situations and unleash Cashius Clay Howell, Marco Polo Jones and John Rylan Kennedy on them. They'll feast on CJ Carr and force him into submission (now we're speaking my language ).

If the above happens, and I see no reason why it wouldn't, then I would expect to see the entire team at confession that very night, asking Rabbi Rudy for forgiveness for destroying the Catholics so badly.

Hard to play press man when our WR go in motion. That leaves him, TE and RB as options that may not be jammed at LOS

Notre Dame has one of the best secondary's in the entire country

they can play man to man with 1 deep safety

and load the box to stop the QB run.

We have to take deep shots and take them early, even if they are not completed, because I believe we'll see an 8-box front. This means we have to protect, and the backs have to help. If we can get a mid range passing attack going it will help loosen up the defense. Definitely going to be a game where the pass sets up the run, not the other way around.
