Why not? It takes34 horrible actions to align to be an issue. High snap, Horrible throw, tipping the ball, failing to tackle at their 20.
The play call was literally a conservative pass (run play) because they had loaded the box.

In their defense, how often does that play work well for us? Other teams? Sure. Us? Usually we get tackled for a loss or barely make anything. We totally over achieved in the wrong direction today.

While I agree, at that point I would have rather seen Moss running it. That being said, how'd that work out for us when we were trying to run out the clock?

But the play calling late in the 4th quarter was abysmal... he's got to be better than a 3 and out when we're trying to run the clock out.
He did not call a great game. Third and one and you pass it? Moss could've gotten 1 yard with two downs. A win is a win though.

If Elko wasn't doing Bateman's job he could have paid more attention to the 3rd and 1 bad play call.

It was an ugly 16-10 home win, but I am glad we started 4-0 and 1-0 in SEC play. We have won 3 straight SEC home games against Auburn.
Don't get cute when you are dominating on the ground deep in your opponent's end AND have the game won.
