I swear to god, it's like you and a bunch of other people here don't make any distinction between different types of pass plays. It's like you think it's binary, you either call run play or pass play.

That was an easy pass with a good chance of converting and limited chance of the disaster that did unfold. Everything went wrong, starting with an awful snap.

That play call was idiotic. Nobody will ever be able to justify it.

We were gashing Auburn, even though they were selling out to stop the run. 3rd and 1. Run the damn ball.

...we no longer have 6-8 delay of game penalties a game because Jimbo can't decide whether to call for the All American or the hash browns smothered, covered, scattered.

Can't imagine how crappy of an OC u are if u have the #1 rusher in the SEC and cannot even call a simple lead to the strong side for a yard. It's a no brainer OC. Not some stupid backside screen. Come on man. Lol

You can't call that play in that situation though.


Why not? It takes 3 4 horrible actions to align to be an issue. High snap, Horrible throw, tipping the ball, failing to tackle at their 20.

The play call was literally a conservative pass (run play) because they had loaded the box.

In their defense, how often does that play work well for us? Other teams? Sure. Us? Usually we get tackled for a loss or barely make anything. We totally over achieved in the wrong direction today.

While I agree, at that point I would have rather seen Moss running it. That being said, how'd that work out for us when we were trying to run out the clock?

But the play calling late in the 4th quarter was abysmal... he's got to be better than a 3 and out when we're trying to run the clock out.

He did not call a great game. Third and one and you pass it? Moss could've gotten 1 yard with two downs. A win is a win though.

You missed the bad snap, which took Reed out of his rhythm and doomed the play from the start.

It was an ugly 16-10 home win, but I am glad we started 4-0 and 1-0 in SEC play. We have won 3 straight SEC home games against Auburn.
