I am not surprised that we are currently 7.5-point home favorites. There are several trends in our favor.
1. We are coming off a 31-9 home win over Mississippi State and playing our 3rd consecutive home game and a 2nd consecutive night home game.
2. Florida will be playing their 3rd true road game in 5 weeks. They lost their previous road games to LSU on 9/13 and Miami on 9/20 by 10+ points each.
3. Mike Elko is now 4-1 (0.800) in SEC home games, including 2-0 this year.
4. Billy Napier is 4-11 (3-8 SEC) in true road games, including 0-2 this year. He is good for exactly one SEC road win each year; 5-7 (2-6 SEC) Texas A&M in 2022, 5-7 (3-5 SEC) South Carolina in 2023, and 2-10 (0-8 SEC) Mississippi State in 2024. His other road win came against 2-10 (1-7 ACC) Florida State in 2024. None of those 4 teams finished better than 5-7.

No offense, but I hate stats like these. The result of some game years ago is beyond irrelevant to this year. And we've only played UF five times this century, hardly enough of a baseline to base a stat off of.
It's going to be a fight as they are trying to save their coach and their season. They have legitimate talent and are just now hitting their stride.

That really isnt true for field noise. University of Montana has 27k sold out stadium and field decibels just as loud as Kyle. Gator stadium is very loud as well.

I've read the reasoning behind the TO was to keep the player that lost his helmet in the game. Otherwise, he would have to sit out one play.

Florida is all over the place. They're wildly inconsistent. Take away their worst loss and best win and analyze what's left: blowout cupcake win, close one at LSU and getting starched at Miami.

Watching Dallas Wilson reminded me of a hybrid of Robert Ferguson & Mike Evans....I am sure t.u. didnt anticipate that type of a debut for his first game. At least our staff has film on him, but damn, that was an impressive showing for his first game.
We need to be prepared, but I think them beating t.u. helps us. That had to get our attention.
