I love Elko, but comparing a 4th(?) year head coach to probably the GOAT is silly.

That said, with victories over South Carolina and Samford, he will have re-took Kyle Field with an undefeated home record, which is a huge step for our program/team. This tells me he's headed in the right direction.

I think he's a much better coach than Jimbo, Sumlin, Sherman, and Franchione combined. I believe we/you/I will hold Elko in high regard in the future. Thanks for all the input.

It's what makes it the Zoo. Elko either needs to be sh**canned yesterday or extended and given a hefty raise. There is never an in-between.

Got it. I just think he's a good coach. It's very Zoo-ish to talk about our opponents record when we win instead of the fact that we are undefeated. Cheer up mother****ers!

By no means do I think any of the 3 teams we have played are SEC contenders, but for all 3 of those opponents, I think they would say we were the best team they have played in conference so far, and that includes the likes of Georgia, Tennessee, LSU, Texas, and Oklahoma.

Schedule toughens up a bit, mainly from the potential of the teams still left on our schedule and the fact that they will be on the road. I have little doubt saying that on a neutral field we are better than anyone else left on our schedule, but this team has simply not played clean enough to believe we are going to run through the remaining slate.

Mizzou is a top 10-15 team, LSU is a top 5 team if they can solve their offensive woes, Texas is a top 15 team if the OL/running game stabilizes. I feel like our issues are much more correctable than those other programs and we have looked better than them already despite those issues. Hopefully the uncomfortable confines of other SEC foe's stadiums will bring out the best in this team.

I like Elko but please, for the love of all thats decent and Holy, no more statues.
