Im 43 and look mid-20s. Not necessarily a good thing, especially in the medical field. Nor with women, especially since I'm 5'8". A middle ground would be nice, but I'm not sure which direction is actually better.

I'm 46. When I had back surgery 2 years ago I got so sick of people saying "you're too young for that". So i grew a beard. Luckily alot of it came in gray so I don't have to listen to that crap any more.

Heard Kirby Smart speak at a coaches clinic for football coaches in my area and I had no idea he was only 8 years older than me.

I chalk it up to stress but also the way he carries himself. He walks and talks with the knowledge and confidence of someone 15 years older than him. You could feel it when he walked in the room and in the way he spoke.

Heard Saban and Swinney speak the year before and got the same feeling. When they both walked in the simply commanded respect by their presence.

I also heard Bronco Mendenhall, Justin Fuente from VT, Chad Morris and a few other notables that I didn't get that sense from. Not saying that's what makes a successful football coach but I promise it's a big help

When Kiffin was younger I just thought of him as a punk, but as he (and I) have aged, I'm beginning to see him through more of a Mike Leach lens. College football is supposed to be entertaining, and listening to constant coach-speak get boring quickly - so Kiffin is a refreshing change.
