YoutubeTV is now listing the upcoming LSU game as being available in 4K (if you have the 4K package). If you have the base plan you can upgrade to 4K plan for $10/ a month and then downgrade afterwards. Any 4K advocates out there? I know that I am looking forward to a better production and crew on ABC Saturday night! The stuff we have gotten the past couple of weeks has been pretty disappointing.

A few things about the ABC/ESPN 4K productions:

• They look great. They're presented in 4K HDR.
• No commercials. They just display a still shot of the stadium during tv timeouts. This is awesome.
• If you're using YoutubeTV on an Apple TV, it won't work. The game will show on the 4K channel, but it will be dark and not in 4k. AppleTV doesn't support the codec that YoutubeTV uses from my understanding. In these situations I watch YoutubeTV with the native YoutubeTV app (on my LG tv) and that works.

Obligatory what's our all-time record in night games shown in 4k when we wear maroon helmets?

For you videophiles, I'm pretty sure that this is 1080p content that is upscaled to 4k. At least, that seems to be a consensus opinion via google. No commercials is pretty cool though.

If we happen to lose, I don't want to see that in 4K. However, I think we win.

I think the 4K games usually look really good, but there are so few it makes it tough to keep the 4K package.

That was awesome. Hadn't seen that before and didn't realize their role in playing that for the stadium Jumbotron. Really cool.

4k works on my appleTV. I have the youtube TV app that i watch through apple TV and it has always worked fine.

I think there might be a 4k compatible apple tv you need to buy? maybe just the latest versions. I'm not sure. But I am proof that there is at least some kinds of apple tv's that will display 4k

You know, I have to confess. Once Mond threw that ball for an INT, I turned off the TV and went to sleep.

I went outside and missed the rest of regulation... came back in wondering why it wasn't postgame coverage yet.

Haha! Man, I always wondered if I was the only one. I hit the power button on the remote as soon as the ball hit the defender's hands. Went out back on my porch to cool off and finish my beer. Buddy texted me while I was out there..."Mond!!!!" I thought he was talking about the interception. Just ignored it. He texted me again later and said "This game will never end!". Had to get up and run back inside feeling like an idiot.

Will espn unlimited have it in 4k ? Or does it already. (I just tap the app until a game comes up)

All the holding the refs will not call on LSU will be looking mighty sharp!

Was watching from the only sports bar in Canyon Lake and had already paid the tab. As soon as that interception hit, we left and drove home and I went to bed. Woke up the next morning to an alert on the phone that we had beat lswho the night before and barely made out the score. My first thought was "I didn't realize conference basketball had started?" Once I figured it out, I probably spent the next 10 hours watching the replays of the entire game in disbelief.

I took my dad (tOSU) to the 2018 LSU game, the only Aggie game he's ever attended with me. We talked about leaving each time it went to another OT, but looked at each and agreed, "Let's stay". So glad we did.

Swear to God, I was so discussed/angry when I saw the INT and the commentators were talking of LSU's 10th win of the season that I just turned of the TV and went to sleep. Then, of course, I woke up the next morning and it was all over Facebook. To be honest, I don't know if I would have been able to handle 7 overtimes watching it live.
