I would seriously doubt it unless Brian Kelly is fired. The results of games don't impact recruiting that much (see Jimbo), but the atmosphere (empty stadium) may. Also, NIL makes flipping harder, but not impossible.

Actually makes it harder after the house settlement. We go in knowing how much $ we have and allocate it for the most part. A guy like Brown would take a lot of $ to pull and it would be almost impossible to find a new "legitimate" NIL deal that LSU couldn't also access.

That's just NIL where the school is involved. "Third party" NIL is still unlimited

Wrong! Now, we have the opportunity to throw money at him to convince him to come. Of course other schools can attempt to offer more. If we really want the guy and it only comes down to money, the rich school wins. We are the rich school! This is not the NFL with a salary cap. You don't think that there are BMAs sitting on their checkbooks in BAS mode?! They are out there and given our trajectory, they are gonna write some checks. There is no limit on NIL.

Before, we simply use words to convince him to choose us over LSU and other schools. How in any world is that easier?! It's not!

It's all still has to clear the auditors and to my point they knew about how much they had to work with. It will be more difficult to drum up "legitimate" NIL. This was already discuss by Billy at some point I believe.

Brown & Keys got to hear LSU Fans chanting "Fire Kelly", "Fire Kelly"........ Proud of A&M Fans for taking that stadium over. Why would a recruit want to start off on a team knowing they're going to fire their coach. Recruiting gonna grab another gear.

Marcel flipped his commitment from Ole Miss to A&M in December of his signing year. I suppose you're going to argue that we should bench Marcel in favor of a QB who "wanted to be here in the first place"?

Different take. If you see the school that's recruited you get boat-raced at home, wouldn't that suggest to you how much they are gonna need your services? Immediate playing time and national recognition?

I know the staff that recruited you is gone, but you might end up liking the new staff better. Think Elko versus Jimbo.
