Elko is on a roll. He just got Brian Kelly fired. Who is next on his hit list? Texas coach Sark?

We are a much better team than Texas and it is very likely we will beat them badly.

Hopefully tu is stupid enough to fire him. He made the semis last year and had a strong SEC debut

They got caught up in the Arch Hype and did a terrible job replacing talent that went to the NFL

tu also did a bad job evaluating Portal Talent
A&M got Howell, Craver, Concepcion through the portal and We are undefeated because those guys are beasts
Sark will fire a couple of assts and tu will throw money at a Portal Coordinator with bags of cash

If that doesn't work he gets fired mid season '27

Probably not bc we have a reasonable record against them. It's the big games for them: GA, TN, AL, with losses that hurt.

Agree for most part. Problem is, Sark clearly is not a program developer and talent developer or very good at evaluating it.

If Sark pulls this in 2026, he is gone by end of year. No 2027 for him unless there is a MAJOR offensive turnaround.

This may be why he is looking at NFL. Cash in before it gets worse. And the Arch saga has not been fun and I kind of don't that improves a lot.

I think he's too witty to get fired. He'll prob look for another offer (if he doesn't have one already) or resign before getting sacked.

I think they would have to go into the game 6-5 for that to be on the table. That would mean their season closed on 4 straight losses plus two overtime games against he cellar dwellers.

Sark has been able to show improvements from year to year even if THIS year is a step back. Kelly has gotten worse every year at LSU and there is a lot of stuff behind the scenes that is building -- i.e. nobody likes BK.

I doubt it happens though. They will play crappy football against the hogs but win despite getting outgained. Then, they will steal a game from someone else based on something sketchy or stupidly lucky to finish 8-4.

Drink is probably safe.

Beamer may be next (although he may get hired somewhere else before he gets fired).

Sark could be at the end of the season if it's an embarrassing beat down (but he may go to the NFL to escape the country club mob on the 40 acres)

He's in a bind with manning right now. He'll be back next year but do you go get a qb or just a bunch of offensive lineman and stick with arch? Next year could be a problem for him.

Look at their schedule. There is good chance cow loses three out of their last four games. If this happens and with us being the last team on the schedule, you could make the case that we got Sark fired.
