My biggest source of trepidation is the fact we are coming off a bye. We never seem to do well after a bye. It's like we lose our edge and play sloppy. Sloppy play that costs us the game is my biggest worry. Hopefully, this team is different and plays well.

I tend to agree. Although this team definitely feels different.
I will also say, I think last year we were 2-0 after a bye. Granted it was at Miss St and New Mexico St.

Nah. I was 42 years old in 2017, wondering if the Astros would ever win a title in my lifetime. When the Astros won the World Series, the anxiety went away. Ever since then, when the Astros are playing in the LCS or the WS, I'm not really nervous. Just enjoying the game knowing that if we don't come through, we've already got a title. (Then 2019 came along and put an asterisk on the 2017 title. But 2022 restored that feeling of accomplishment).

Always nervous every game day, every year. Not enough to lose sleep but always there.

I'm nervous our slow starts that we seem to have this year will eventually catch up to us and cost us a W.

Yeah, it was certainly an issue under Jimbo. But I think Jimbo's approach to the bye week was to have the team go on a 72-hour hookers and blow binge.
I'm always nervous before any Aggie football game regardless who we're playing.
Being an Aggie and watching our football team play for the last 30+ years will do that to you.

Pretty much. My BAS was sure we would start out slow and find ourselves down 2 scores early in the first quarter against LSU and never really get momentum. It wasn't until we were up 42-18 in the fourth quarter that I started to relax.
With Mizzou, I fear getting down 10-0 in the first quarter, going into the half trailing, everyone saying we are fine because we are a second half team, looking embarrassing in the third quarter, and then losing by at least two scores.
I hate the way I am.
LOL, same here. My son complains and tells me to stop thinking that way. Can't help it.
My BAS is definitely strong. I'm not letting myself buy into the hype.

Absolutely. Every time the Aggies play I feel like I need heart medication. I used to not get worried about the rent-a-wins and then App State happened. BAS is a thing for a reason.

This has been one of the most exciting seasons I've watched, since I began watching Aggie Football.
I'm looking forward to this game.
ETA this team has allot of fight in them. These guys definitely deserve the support they're getting from the fan base regardless of how the rest of the season goes.

Was more nervous for pig and LSU. Pig because it was the first road game since ND, LSU because Death Valley, night game desperate team.....yadda...yadda....yadda.
Ive always been pretty confident we would beat Mizzou regardless of what happened in the first two of these three. Taking those just makes it better.
