Hell, the committee's reasoning behind not giving us credit was due to Mizzou's wear and tear already this year.

I thought the defensive point last week was fair. But now, if that is one of the arguments, the counter I have is why can't Indiana score 30 points on any decent defense on their schedule? Because we have proof that Marcel Reed and A&M can do so on the road against quality defenses. Mizzou's defense was never in question and LSU's defense held Bama in check this past weekend. In fact, our offensive performance is the outlier in Mizzou, LSU, and Notre Dame's schedule. At some point, they deserve respect.

Also heard Rhoades refer to Miami's talent, which I found to be a big no/no from a committee head. If talent is a factor, then there should be little doubt that A&M's schedule is more difficult at this point.

The good news is we can play our way out of this discussion, although at this point, I am starting to doubt that we even have the ability to be ranked higher than 3rd. Feels like the committee will justify keeping the Indiana/Ohio State loser at 2, especially if it is Ohio State.

The biggest sham on here is texas- other than their 2 loses, theres nothing in the expressed metrics- rankings, ratings, wins, loses, eye test or whatever else that texas has to justify their spot other than an upset win agaisnt an Oklahoma team with a busted qb.

The bcs would also mean the ccgs matter again. Indiana are guaranteed a loss. The sec will end up with an undefeated or 1 loss team champ. But, the bcs is more predictable, whereas this "committee" just makes **** up as necessary

It's comical that the Big 12 is being treated as anything other than a G5 conference. Tech should absolutely be penalized for their schedule. Also, it's very obvious that the committee is eating up the "little engine that could" narrative with Indiana.

Looking at the playoff bracket, if it were today and we swapped with Indiana, we would be playing the winner of tu and Ole Miss as opposed to the winner of Tech and Miami. I like our current matchup better.

Im not sure Indiana is a top 5 team honestly. Cant really tell, they have had one hard game. And they will only play 1 hard game.

Based on results without bias Ags are 1. But really i like that this is happening...makes it easier for team to stay focused!

Easy to say just win out and everything will take care of itself. I would 100% prefer the extra leeway being seeded higher would afford you. No doubt about it, your odds of still hosting a playoff game are greater if you are ranked #1 or 2 right now and lose a game than being #3.

What we've always known is, an upset loss early in the season is still a hole any program can crawl out of. No reason to think of Tech less deserving compared to Bama's lost to FSU. I'm saying that with no bias.

What I cannot wrap my head around is OU and cow being ranked ahead of BYU given that same premise. Their only lost is to a top 10 team, and they havent been in close games against lesser opponents. I get we all hate the Big 12 even if now we're stuck with their ungrateful basta** children that used them. But you're going to reward Stoops cluster f play calling and put that in the top 10?

Like someone else said, Miami will not be able to shake off their loss no matter what they do now. It was too late in the season.
