It will be a sell out whether it is 11am or 7 pm.

Do they think people are still sleepy at 11 am?

Is it because most people haven't been drinking all day at a tailgate and aren't boozed up and therefore more likely to be loud?

I'd buy it for an 11 am in September because it's hot by 1 pm. But this is in December.

Do they think people are less likely to let loose and be loud when not obscured by darkness?

And, no, it's not because I touch myself at night.

So you've been to an 11am game in December? His point of the time of year is valid.

I've been in November when it's colder than the 75 predicted for next week.

One of the loudest games I've ever been to was a day game in Kyle Field. Alabama 2013. Probably was the 2:30 game. Can't remember but I expect this to rival as one of the best atmospheres in Kyle field history.

As they have been…people over partied the night before, kids don't wake up until 11am or later (they are the real noise) and historically a hot game (which this won't be).

Kids are out of school and some seats being sold to UM and randoms.

Elko thinks it will be a crazy atmosphere due to playoff game, but think he's talking about it to try to hype up A&M fans (he's mentioned it too much) and market it as think know tough time to play.

I've never thought of Aggie fans as intimidating. We are not a hostile fan base.

The stadium will be full and plenty loud from the start next Saturday.

It was 2:30, I know cause I was there as well. I can vividly remember the shadow effect on the field as JFF threw the long bomb to Mike Evans and the place just erupted

So, you've never been to an 11am, home playoff game at Kyle in December. But whining 12 months a year you've done. Got it!

I guess they want fans who threaten players on the field and fans in the stadium? lol. I don't think the intent of the fans is the least bit relevant. What matters is how loud it is when the QB is communicating with their line.

I would venture to guess that the majority of our 11 am games have either been those of the rent-a-win variety or SEC bottom feeder variety since the SEC does not promote the 11 am time slot as a prime spot.

Those types of games do not draw full and energetic crowds and the team has a history of sleep walking through the first halves of those games.

This however is a playoff game and those factors should not come into play.

Throw more **** on the field? I'm up the 300's but I'll give it a go.

11am is still morning, it's just a different energy than late afternoon or night.

It is what it is but frustrating that 11am is even a thing for the playoffs.

Pointing out what is common knowledge is not whining.

This game is going to be crazy loud & a great environment. It would be a better environment at night. Sorry that hurts people's feelings.

Because it's hard for a fan base that isn't LSU to be loud-drunk at 11am.

Worst game time slot for sure. I guess drink plenty of coffee or bloodies to get you jazzed up.

I get its the the Internet, and people will literally argue anything, but trying to claim an 11:00 game is the same atmosphere as a night game really is Torbush level.

I remember the 11 am game vs OU in 2000

That atmosphere was crazy

USCe was plenty loud in the second half and it was an 11AM kickoff. Would have been louder in the first probably if the Ags hadn't been tap dancing on their own....

We think a lot of ourselves and rightly so since our game day atmosphere ranks up there with similar environments. That said, it's not that big of a deal in the modern game. I went to the ND and texas games last year. As crazy as both crowds were, they had no effect on either opposing team.

Given the mid-day sun, the "Mirror Out" effect could be massively intimidating . . . I say bring it back!

I dont think people are disagreeing the atmosphere would be better as a night game, but saying that it won't be an intimidating atmosphere because its an 11am game is a weak take
