ESPN reporting that City is ready to pony up 180 million euros for Wirtz and Reijnders. Would love to get both those guys. Really seems like Wirtz would solve a lot of our problems.

The Cherki-Ait Nouri link up play late in the game was awesome to see. Thought Ait Nouri was going to shoot it but played a dangerous ball across the face of goal. And before that was Cherki dummying the ball for Haaland and Haaland tees it up for Cherki for a great shot.

The several times I've seen Cherki now in the past few weeks, he has been amazing as a substitute and not as effective as a starter. I wonder if his best role right now is as a super sub. Hate to leave that much talent on the bench for 60+ minutes in favor of Gundogan or Silva, but it may be best for the team right now.

I think Gundogan has something left in the tank for this coming season. Silva, I'm not optimistic about, but I really hope I'm wrong.

Yeah Gundogan showed some stuff last night. Hopefully it wasn't just the opponent. He may be headed to Galatasaray though.

Regarding Silva, I've decided to completely view him as a 6 instead of an attacking player, and it's changed my perspective on him lol. He kinda plays as a 6 in a double pivot now, rather than out wide farther up the field like he used to. If you think of him as a 6, then you're fine with him. He's kinda decent as a holding midfielder. He's been named squad captain, so he's bringing stuff to the team off the field, you'd think.

Great dominating game. Rodri is definitely back and I can't wait for next season to start.
