Bayern Munich is up 1 to 0 after a dominating 1st half. Disappointing not to push it to 2 to 0. Need to keep up the pressure on the defensive line and put in a second goal.

PSG look really dangerous in the opening of this game. Already leveled it. they need to get another goal in this half. capitalize on these chances.

PSG deserved winners in every way. They look very good.

PSG and Liverpool were two of the most in-form teams in the world remaining in the tournament. Having them meet in the round of 16 isn't ideal.

Isn't ideal, but PSG was really bland for the first 5 months of the season. Whatever happened in that 4-2 comeback win against Man City has completely revamped that team.

depending on the forum, staff gets all upset if non-supporters post in the team threads. so i avoid doing it in any forums now.

PSG came in 2nd to last from the table format. if it had been the old format, Liverpool could just have easily met them this round.

Yeah, which is sort of what I was getting to with the format criticism.

It's still weird. And no one's crying.

As a Liverpool fan, I'm not crying at all about the format being the problem (even though I don't really like it in general). Just the way it worked out that 2 of the best teams (imo) met in the round of 16. One of those neither team deserves to lose yet scenario (fandom aside). But it happens in all forms of playoffs at times, just the way it goes. And no doubt PSG deserved to move on. Their form has been incredible for a while and have some much talent and youth/energy at every level playing together at a high level.

Will see if it continues.

This year was definitely weird in that aspect. Bayern, both Madrids, PSG, AC Milan, Juventus, Man City all finished in the lower part of the qualification table for the CL League stage. They all seemed to start really slow in the competition

I know LaLiga is harsher but outside of an intentional handball I'm a bit lost on why you'd call anything if not that.
