Current roster, correct me I have missed someone or something. Arranged by class. Within each class sorted by name, class, position (F, M, D, GK) and transfer if a new transfer. This might help since there are 12 new names and faces this Spring and it has been awhile since the season ended!

Great idea for a new thread! 12 new faces on the roster and I have zero clue on who will start for this team. A much different feeling as a fan than in past off seasons. We return only 3 goals from last season, might be the lowest returning production in the country

The thing i'm paying attention to the most this spring is injuries… springs haven't been kind to us on the injury front

12 goals transferred out and 13 graduated. We only scored 28 on the year lol. I'm afraid Sydney Becerra's dropping a hat trick on us next month lol

Isn't this the truth and really amazing to think about?
Usually we are filled with anticipation for position groups and individual players, and this year it's just an empty space.

I had been thinking it was the lame-duckedness of it all.
Let's hope it's exciting to watch the new players grow and flourish.

I have wondered about GK Maysen Veronda's availability this Spring because she was called up in Feb for the Philippine national team:

Recall that she was probably going to be the starting GK last year but went down early in the season with an injury (gosh, how many players went down in practice last year?) and was out for the season.

I checked the schedule for the Philippine team for the tournaments mentioned on their call up page, did a few quick searches, and found the following:

Southeast Asian Games - 9 to 20 December 2025
ASEAN Women's Championship - June 2025
Asian Cup Qualifiers - Qualified on 6 February, tournament begins 6 May 2025

So, should be available all Spring.

I know we lost a LOT of starters to transfer and graduation but out of curiousity I looked at last year's schedule. First non-exhibition match was vs Lamar. Checked the starters. Mayson Veronda and Leah Pirro only two still on the team.

Checked the Baylor match not too much later. Sydney Fuller (GK) only one left. And she may not have started if Mayson had not been out due to the earlier season-ending injury.

It truly will be interesting this Spring (and Fall) !! Recall also that he did not start ANY of the transfers he brought in for the sole purpose of finishing scoring chances until quite a few games into the season. Many of us complained !! I am very interested to see how many freshmen and transfers will be in the starting group on March 23 vs Baylor. Of course, these ARE Spring matches but still ...

I will try to remember to record all the starters and subs each match this Spring and compare them after the schedule is done. Just for funsies.

I think I remember soccer putting out short press releases after Spring matches each year. Not a lot of detail but at least we know what happened. But is anybody going to the match today? Would love to have comments, score, updates, starters, subs, etc. here during the game. Even notes on the game afterwards would be great to us out-of-staters.

Here is what I gathered from someone there. Our team has been playing together for a couple of weeks. An "encouraging" showing today. They played 3 - 30 minute periods today. None of the periods were just about winning. Different combinations and lots of players.

0-0 in period 1
0-0 in period 2
Baylor 2-0 in period 3.

I'm sure we will learn more as someone that attended today gives their thoughts. I didn't ask about the purposes and rotations in each period. But that is what I gathered quickly.
