The video on Aggie Soccer Twitter showed the team on the field at the old softball stadium for the first practice this morning and it looked like the softball dirt infield has been replaced with grass. Is this an official soccer practice field now?

Not certain, but I think that happened last season after the Brazil v Mexico soccer game that was played at Kyle. They couldn't keep that grass at Kyle, so it was repurposed at the old softball field.

We are playing 3 30 minute periods tonight.

0-0 after the 1st period. Random observations: we created a couple of quality chances, Patterson was very active and looked good in the back, and Hutchins is really, really fast.

It looks like Veronda will start period 2 in goal after Fuller started period 1.

I think she was one of three who subbed in during first 30 minute period.

Looks to me like Lavender is the only one not in uniform. I suppose it doesn't mean some others aren't injured and won't play, but she is the only one not dressed.

Awe man, hopefully it's something precautionary! Does she have a brace on or anything?? Seems like last fall we could field a team of girls with bad knees! So looks like we're healthier this season! (God willing)

We need Veronda healthy, Fuller is an amazing goalie but she was beat up at the end of the season and could have used some rest! Veronda beat her for the starting job last camp!

Yea, Veronda earned the job but that darn injury. It IS great to have three keepers who can do the job well, to give each other a rest occasionally !!
