I hate the flow of a game like that where it's just booted back and forth from each end, but I'll take a win. Great hustle by Jernigan to earn the game winner.

4 goals in 4 games-against Baylor, Lamar, Tx State, and UConn. O/U 1 win in conference play, maybe against Missouri?

UConn goal made early top 10 on ESPN this morning (early show)...not a good look.
Glad we won, will root for the ladies, but program has gone backwards and so ready for a new coaching regime (past due). Team will struggle to win anything in the SEC this year as just lacking the players, depth and coaching. But hey, it is what it is and hopefully they prove me wrong!!

Proofreading before posting would've helped! Yeah, I meant 3 ga. I'd say it's quality of opponent as opposed to good defense. The cb's are going to be exploited against better opponents. At least the structure has been somewhat adjusted since the spring. The lines are still too far apart and easy to break.
Last night’s magic ✨⚽️

Guerrieri recaps UConn win in front of second-largest crowd in history
We're more fit. The foundation of our game is: Can you run? Can you stick with people? Last year against Denver, that was an "uh oh" moment because they ran us into the ground, and we lost 3-2. Our new strength and conditioning coach has had a lot put on him, but we want to be able to run opponents to death.
The foundation of our game is can you run. This sums up A&M soccer. It's about fitness and not good soccer. If you don't play kick and run soccer and focus more on possession, fitness is not the foundation of your game. Good possession soccer should be your foundation. Play smarter not harder when it's not necessary.
Our new strength and conditioning coach has had a lot put on him, but we want to be able to run opponents to death. With A&M's style of soccer you're not only running your opponents, but you're also running your own players into the ground. With this style of soccer you better have a really deep bench with no drop off (Arkansas).
Until A&M get a new coach who values possession soccer over fitness you will continue to see the decline of the program. As I've said before, I believe this is the reason we lost so many girls in the portal.
