I was managing a tourney a couple of weeks ago where we were playing on field turf and the air temps were above 90 and the heat index was right at 100. It was probably 130 on the surface of the turf. We were doing 2 water breaks per half. It was mandated by the state association based on USSF rules.

I had 2 crazy idiot U12 girls coaches yelling at me that they didn't want any breaks at all. It was their third game of the day and these morons were more interested in yelling than worrying about player safety.

I'm ok with the hydration breaks. A 2-3 minute stoppage in the name of player safety isn't a bad thing. Nothing wrong with setting a good example.

Next you'll want to take the girls off every time a player has a concussion. What about the sanctity of the sport!

West Ham had been flirting with relegation for the last 4-5 seasons, so not surprising that it finally caught up with them. Tottenham being in the battle this season made the relegation battle a glorious one! Until next season.

If you can't take a little stick when your Top 6 club has finished 17th the last two seasons then this site probably isn't for you.

Haha I've been on TexAgs a long time…and as an Aggie who survived 77-0 and the Fran years (I'm sure plenty of y'all did too), it takes a lot more than relegation talk from anonymous strangers to ruin my day.

I was just curious where all the smugness came from when all I said was I hope my club improves and pushes for top 4 again like they have plenty of times recently. Wasn't an expectation or prediction.
