Fully expect Spain to beat Uruguay but this is not out of the question.

URU tied for 2nd but play Spain while CV gets Saud. Realistically URU is staring at 3rd. They would be a tough 3rd place team. And that's assuming they go on with only 2 points. They may be in win or go home mode against Spain.

I dont think 2 points is gonna advance, but we shall see. Currently 5 teams in 3rd with 1 point. 3 of those 5 have played 2 games already

Yeah. Both UrU and CV have 2. If they each tie they each sit at 3 with and it may go to card accumulation to see who gets 2nd. Crazy that CV v KSA is suddenly a massive match.

Uruguay are in big trouble.

Spain is in big trouble because that game will be a blood bath. Uruguay can be a dirty physical team when cornered.

Man kudos to CV for not parking the bus like many would have expected them to. They refused to back down and got after it every chance they got. Their set pieces were **** all game so I doubt that last free kick would have netted them anything but damn, what a fun match. Uruguay getting grouped would be amazing

Saw a number of Cabo Verde fans and a few Saudi fans at the FIFA Fan Zone in downtown Houston last night.

I had forgotten that Saudi is hosting in 2034.
