Yeah, I'll be pretty disappointed if all we do this off season is add Harper, Carter and a couple older backup centers. I get the patient approach and I am fine with it to a degree. This team needs to play together first before you can make some judgements. However, the two biggest needs going into the offseason were shooting and quality big man minutes. The roster needs to be consolidated and re worked. There are guys who really don't fit into this team at all (Keldon) and need to be moved. The Spurs need to continue being active to improve this roster. Not the time to start pressing the brakes.

Signing Kornet/Capela and Yabusele just still isn't enough IMO. Those guys are fine but other roster moves should be made. At a minimum Keldon and Branham need to be moved. Another proven shooter needs to be added.

Lol signing a guard was predicated on moving on from Vassell when there was heavy smoke prior to the draft.

Nonetheless, I would expect Kornet's advanced metrics to decline playing behind guys like Vassell, Keldon and Barnes instead of the deep contending lineups in Boston.

Solid addition though.

Similar trades might still be out there for MPJ, surely the Nets are very open to flipping him. They got a 1st from Denver just to take on the extra 16 million, so why wouldn't they listen on Keldon, Branham and a far out 1st for MPJ.

They HAVE to tank next year in order to keep their own pick so they almost 100% want to dump him.

Oh no, I wanted Denver to give us the first for MPJ. I'm not taking on that contract without taking a first with it.

But MPJ's contract expires when Wemby's next one kicks in, so we are in position to take it on.

Next priority is our long term PF.
