Awesome! We took our 10 yo to Wrigley for his birthday last year for the first time. It was possibly the best day any of us had. Highly recommend the Wrigley Field tour.
are you wearing astros gear? If so, don't go to the bleachers. IF you are not, sit in bleachers. Also when buying tickets, there are some restricted view seats so make srue you didn't get those. Those suck! IF you are in the shade in july, it could be chilly.Dr. Doctor said:
Question for those that have been:
Family is going to chicago this summer to visit (never been) and hit up both Wrigley and White Sox park. Going at the end of July where Cubs play home stand then play Sox on Friday.
Is there a good place to 'sit' at Wrigley? Is there a good spot for the 'fan experience'? I'm an Astros guy (sorry), so just want to visit the park and see a good game. TIA

if small kids, i would avoid bleachers, it could be rowdy. They like to have a good time. I like the seats around third base dugout area and down the line.Dr. Doctor said:
No I'm not one of those people. I think the cubs are playing the royals, so my youngest will be wearing his little league hat because they were the same team (although he's on the cubs this year, so he could be wearing that).
Anyway to see which seats are limited view?

I second this. The bleachers are a lot of fun, but folks sitting there consume a lot of beer so probably not the best place to be if you're taking along little kids.Quote:

we were probably 20-25 rows up halfway between dugout and foul pole. I enjoyed when I took my kids. I would have him wear cubs gear and make a sign that is it your first time at wrigley all the way from texas. We were the first family shown on the jumbotron.Dr. Doctor said:

Good mailbox day....all the scattered cards I needed to complete all the 1980-1990 Topps and Topps Traded team sets.
EXCEPT I just realized I missed Mitch Webster on my 1990 list.....soooo close!
The 1970s are going to be a bit slower because they're not as inexpensive

if the Cubs come out of April with a winning record without Steele… I feel like this team might be dangerous.10andBOUNCE said:

Yep, 100%. These next two weeks are especially brutal. It will be interesting how they handle Shaw as he has struggled here out of the gate. Not like they really have a ton of other options though.Matthew Dawson said:if the Cubs come out of April with a winning record without Steele… I feel like this team might be dangerous.10andBOUNCE said:

I know that Tucker and Suzuki won't stay this hot all season, but nobody has a harder April schedule than the Cubs
after the last few years, my BCS is still high, but hopefully they keep investing in building this team.10andBOUNCE said:
They are fun to watch no doubt! Like a true Cubs fan with BCS (battered Cubs syndrome) I was lamenting how I wasted my afternoon Friday watching the game after they coughed up the lead. But these guys just stormed back and kicked the DBacks in the nuts!
Great win last night! Hopefully we play the Dodgers again in October.
I hope they start investing more financially in this roster. We've been operating like a small market team without having any of the revenue draft/IFA advantages of those teams. Start by extending Tucker and PCA.AgShaun00 said:after the last few years, my BCS is still high, but hopefully they keep investing in building this team.10andBOUNCE said:

my issue. I feel like they are being way too cheap. I don't expect yankees or dodgers, but spend some moneyCubbieAggie said:I hope they start investing more financially in this roster. Yep. They did try to sign Tanner Scott to more present day value than what he signed for with the Dodgers. Some noise with a late push for Bregman, but I was not as high on that at the time. So I give them that. But that was about it for anything big this offseason.AgShaun00 said:my issue. I feel like they are being way too cheap.
