Fenway last night was fun! Such a beautiful ballpark - it and Wrigley are in a level all to themselves as the jewels of the sport.

Sonny Gray was a little shaky in the 1st inning but was incredible after that. I really needed the Rangers to put up a little bit more of a fight to keep the score closer so I could have seen Aroldis Chapman come in - I still need to check him off my potential future HoF checklist.

Have to say that we weren't impressed with Dodger Stadium. Maybe because it was a day game, hot, no shade, and really crowded due to Ohtani on the mound. Traffic getting in was absolutely gridlock causing us to miss the first three innings. Stadium itself has not been updated at all, unlike Angels Stadium. I guess they are deferring upgrades like they are deferring contracts. Crowd was into it so I give them props and Dodger Dogs did live up to their reputation.

A few days ago I was trying to think of what more northern cities I'd go to on purpose to see baseball and all I could come up with was Pittsburgh. Been to that stadium but not for a ball game. Wrigley would be the other one but don't want to go to Chicago. Cincy probably would be ok. The rest I just don't wanna go. I'd go to San Diego or Arizona . Would like to see Camden yards if it wasn't in Baltimore. Ditto Busch if it wasn't in StL.
