Today was the first game I watched since May - other than one I went to. The singles' fest is the most bizarre thing I've seen in a long time ,and half of them are only hits because the defense is protecting against actual hard-hit balls.

It's time for a players only meeting. Led by a guy that's been here less than a weekend.

No doubt. We shouldn't ask Cam to help carry the team anymore unless it's against left handed pitching.

He has plenty of time to figure it out in coming seasons.

Astros offense has been underwhelming and they traded for 3 JAGs. This is just more of the same. Problem is the Mariners added proven run producers.

Overall I agree. Regardless of weather, though, I have a hard time imagining any of those seats (other than the temporary ones) being even a half ass view. Granted I've never been to a short track, before, so going off of my experiences in larger speedways.

The race track seats behind home plate where they built up bleachers would be obstructed view completely. As far as the rest of it, is probably like sitting in the nose bleeds at the Astrodome. You can see it, but only if you squint real hard.

I've been to Martinsville but never Bristol. From what I can tell, Bristol is set up now like a football / soccer stadium, so with those temporary stands, it's going to be very awkward. If they got those out of the way it would be like playing in Oakland, but with the seating still arranged for football.
