Another 5+ run game by the offense today should go a long way towards getting this road trip back to .500 where it should be after letting one get away on Friday night in Boston.

Already expecting shenanigans in the Bronx this weekend from the umps, etc. to help that team get outta their funk.

I'm excited to see a full season of Sanchez. I get it that he pummels RH pitching and sucks vs LH. But with the league sporting 75% right handers I would be interested in locking him up. Really seems to bring a spark and loves playing the game.

He hit .218 in July with 1 HR and 9 RBI, walked a bunch, but very little run production.
5 games into August he's gone 3 for 18, all singles, 8 strikeouts.

Just wait until they see him in the playoffs.

I've heard really good things about him. Really, really good dude and well liked in the clubhouse.

They think there's some untapped potential there.

Introverted loser is about spot on for him.

I think he had a 3 run jack for us in the playoffs early in the game that we ultimately lost. That's about the most "clutch" I can remember but I'm sure I'm forgetting something else.

Besides the obvious title-clinching catch, I don't remember Tucker doing much in the postseason after he hit two homers against Philly in Game 1.

And he was pretty nonchalant about that as I recall while our first baseman, can't recall his name, was going nuts as was warranted. Maybe just his personality but it is off-putting for sure.

Career .685 OPS in the postseason. Without his 2020 covid year numbers it would be significantly lower.
