Hope he figures it out quick because he is totally lost right now.

- 0-7 at home against the A's and Guardians
- got outscored like 45-6 over a weeklong span
- went 30 innings without scoring
- pantsed at home by the Rockies with the ace on the mound
Not deep playoff run caliber and not even remotely fun to watch. Wicked combo of a team.
This has been a patchwork season, but the team is getting healthy at the right time. It's sad people can't enjoy the resiliency and instead have to focus on the negative aspects.
I am not trying to be rude, but it sounds like the team is making you miserable. Just turn them off and go on with your life.
All of those things except the first one have happened post-deadline, I believe? It's not blameable on the AAAA players. What resiliency are we seeing in being sub-.500 in the last 10 and faceplanting weekly with one of the easiest remaining schedules in baseball? Genuine question. It's just what it is.
I agree with the above though, elite username.

I am talking the season in the totality. The last few weeks have been rough, but wear/tear and still an undesirable lineup can do that to you. The team is getting healthier every day. We need Jake back. It will be an even bigger bonus if we can get Isaac back.
It's not ideal that they're losing tonight, but it's still great to watch Yordan back at the plate. Altuve roped a ball in the first, Walker roped one as well. They were just right at someone. Lots of runners LOB, but... That is just how it goes sometimes. Outside of the E6, they haven't played badly.

The bright side is if Yordan bats again it'll probably be as the tying run.superaggie73 said:
Look at the bright side…our 2 best relievers, Abreu and Chas, get the night off to rest their arms.

They are still pro players who can make plays. All you can do is make a good pitch or put a good swing on the ball. That doesn't mean it's always going to work out in your favor. There are series for a reason, and that's so the law of averages work out, and the better team usually wins the series.
Also, I am not saying Hunter was good tonight. He didn't recover from that E4 or E6 (however you want to score it) and he did hang one 0-2 pitch. The HR pitch was a dotted inside sinker. Just a better swing, though. If Altuve's ball finds a hole, it's a different game. If the error doesn't happen, it's a different game.
